Hotel Insurance

The coverages provided for the building and contents insurance program of tourist units include:

• Fire – Lightning
• Forest fire
• Explosion from any cause
• Smoke damage
• Aircraft crash
• Impact of third-party vehicles on the insured building
• Storm, storm, flood, snow, snow load, hail, frost
• Pipe burst
• Leakage from sprinklers
• Water pumping costs
• Lockouts, strikes, riots, political unrest
• Terrorist acts
• Malicious acts
• Short circuit with and without a fire source
• Debris removal
• Costs of transportation, storage, reinstallation of content
• Storage costs
• Breaking of illuminated signs – inscriptions
• Breaking of glass – mirrored doors and/or windows
• Damage during firefighting
• Underinsurance protection
• Landslide-subsidence
• Professional Fees & Expenses of Public Authorities
• Deterioration of goods inside refrigerators or cold rooms, following a power outage or proven failure of the electricity provider for more than 12 hours
• Damage to the building as a result of theft
• Theft – robbery
• Cashier robbery
• Theft of money from a safe and robbery
• Theft/Robbery of money during its transport
• Permanent installations in outdoor areas, such as gazebos, pergolas, awnings, gates, fences, terraces, roads, sidewalks, fields, as well as movable property and equipment in general such as sun loungers, umbrellas and others for damage as a result of weather phenomena. Excludes tree plantings, garden plants, golf courses, beaches, piers, piers, platforms as well as land/soil development costs
• Civil liability of the insured for material damage to neighboring and only third-party properties as a result of covered risks
• Coverage of newly acquired property, with the obligation to declare it within 30 days of its acquisition and the collection of the corresponding premiums
• Costs of preventing or limiting damage
• Additionally, earthquake coverage can be added (provided exclusively to earthquake-resistant structures with a foundation year after 1960)

General Third-Party Liability

The third-party liability insurance for the insured company covers bodily injury/death or material damages to third parties, according to the Civil Code, for which the Insured Company will be held liable by the operations of the hotel facilities.

Extensions

• Liability from the use of elevators, swimming pools, sports facilities.
• Food poisoning from consumption of foods or drinks prepared or sold and consumed within the hotel premises, provided that there are at least three (3) victims in each incident.
• Personal customers’ belongings within the hotel rooms, except money, credit cards, traveler’s checks, jewelry and other valuables.
• Employer’s Liability (an insurance package with General S.A., at no additional cost). Employer’s Liability is covered according to the Civil Code for employees who appear on the payroll of the insured as a result of a work-related accident.
