This special insurance program is directed to students of Greek Universities, who participate in the European Student Exchange Program “ERASMUS+”, and covers Personal Accident and Civil Liability against third parties. The insurance plan can be extended and can also be given to students of Greek Universities in the context of their usual activities at work during their stay for internship purposes in an eligible country under the ERASMUS program.
Student Insurance Abroad – ERASMUS
- Death from an accident €10,000.
- Permanent total & permanent partial disability from an accident €10,000.
- Medical expenses due to an accident (in & outside a hospital) up to €500 and from illness up to €250.
- General hospital care expenses due to an accident or illness up to €1,200.
- Repatriation or transfer of a body in the event of a serious accident, illness or death up to €2,000.
- Loss of luggage up to €200.
- Personal civil liability up to €30,000 per event & in total.
Note: As illness is considered to be any non-pre-existing disease that may occur during the insured student’s stay at the destination country and which can be of minor degree of severity, such as gastroenteritis, poisoning, fever, vomiting, flu.
